Up for sale, a 1991 Fender Order Made Stratocaster 72 vintage reissue model ST72-500 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. While stamped in the neck pocket as part of Fender Japan’s Order Made program (which offered non-catalog features and various upgrades on base model tiers), this Made in Japan Stratocaster appears to have a standard ST72 feature set.
Tonewoods include an ash body and a one-piece maple neck, loaded with a trio of Fender Japans ST-Current alnico magnet single coil pickups. Theres a sweet cut, bounce and detail in the bridge position, with a woody cut in the middle and a fat, bell-like sound at the neck. This ST72-500 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mikes Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
